To me this just proves that the villain is just a spoiled brat who uses magic to get her way, and not an actual domme. Jen was very respectful and kept proper in her concerns, showing a great deal of loyalty to boot. The fact the villainess there has chosen to punish her for this, and is genuinely ANGRY about this concern, proves she's no dominant.That said I do like the turn-about on Jen.
